Exploring the Creative Intersection of Digital Art & Photography

This is my personal web gallery
I am constantly learning and evolving techniques for transitioning photographic pictures into digital works of art. My work ranges from purely photographic images to altered digital art, all of which I create or take. Painting styles vary from abstract to plein air realistic works. I have experimented with AI, but so far have only used it in the one work, you see below of Jerusalem. My joyful challenge also includes creating the digital frames and updating this virtual online gallery website for free public viewing. Rights are reserved on all images though, so please to not copy.

VIEWING SUGGESTION:
This WordPress site allows you to rotate your phone or tablet for better viewing landscapes. Larger desktop screens and casting images to your TV also work well.
Visitors Guide
Start by visiting either the permanent theme Galleries or New Works Gallery from the menu.
I share techniques in Tips-n-Fx, and handy reference websites in Resources.
So, what can you do with a photograph?
Example of a normal photograph vs a digital enhanced & colorized photograph (slide arrows left & right).
Below that is digital artwork, in an impressionistic painted style. It was started by working on an enlarged section of the colorized photograph. Digital, hand painted-in details have been added on transparent layers above the image and erasers have punched holes in the image to see through it to colors painted on a layer below it.
