“Cloud Gate” also known as “The Bean” is an art installation by Anish Kapoor. The 168 panel, stainless-steel surface seamlessly reflects lights and activities of the city, park and skyline, inviting viewers to touch and interact with its mirror-like surface. Marina City Towers is Chicago’s 1967 Mid-Century Modernism Icon by architects Bertrand Goldberg & Associates. It was conceived as a “City within a city” designed to draw middle class residents back to the city.
